About our caravan park in Ballarat — a small park with long memories.
Shady Acres has been quietly hosting travellers in Warrenheip — on the eastern edge of Ballarat, directly on the M8 — for nearly twenty years. The park began as a family farmstead: twelve acres of mature blue gums, a creek line and a long, flat paddock perfect for caravans.
We took it over in 2014 with a simple plan: keep it small, keep it clean, and treat people the way we'd want to be treated on the road. That meant a years-long renovation of every cabin, a serious upgrade to the bathrooms, and — most importantly — saying no to anything that didn't add to the quiet.
Today, Shady Acres is one of regional Victoria's most-loved boutique caravan parks. Whether you're after cabins in Ballarat, a powered caravan site, or a quiet camping pitch, we hope you'll come and stay.
